What is Piano Day?
Piano Day is a worldwide celebration of the piano that takes place on the 88th day of each year – 88 being the number of keys on a piano. Piano Day was founded by a group of like-minded people who are passionate about the piano and piano music.

In 2024 World Piano Day is celebrated on the 28th of March.
How can you celebrate?
Celebrate by playing your piano! Create your own Piano Day concerts and events to celebrate with with friends, family, and the wider musical community. How are we celebrating Piano Day?
We’ve teamed up with our friends at The Australia Ballet for a social media collaboration which features a day of piano song requests being played/performed by Andrew Dunlop, Principal Pianist of The Australia Ballet, during ballet class and practice on March 28th.
